Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I studied ballet from ages 3 to 16 and began teaching aerobics at 17. I majored in Arts and Science at Barnard College in NYC and at 27, became an ACSM certified personal trainer in Northern California. Today, I am an NASM certified personal trainer and a Chek certified golf conditioning specialist. Through self education I am always learning and applying new knowledge to training.
It is with positive energy, encouragement, and particular attention to each person's needs and body type that I help my clients reach their goals. They are very diverse; from athletes to post-op patients, teens to 87 year olds. Regardless of differences in goals, if we have fun, practice with excellent form, increase strength and stamina and create a habitual healthy life style, training is successful.
My approach to training is holistic in that I address cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, weight training and healthy eating habits. In each session, I focus on biomechanics, muscle control, energy levels, health issues and state of mind.
