Body Works

This strength and conditioning class provides a total body workout using barbells, dumbbells, resistance bands, and stability balls.

Cycling

Our indoor cycling class mimics outdoor terrain rides. Rides are categorized as endurance, interval, all terrain, strength, and race day. Our monthly schedule is posted in the cycling room. Please bring water and a towel. Sign-up is required prior to class.

Cycle Pump

This class involves intervals of cycling and strength using hand-held weights, and finishes with a stretching session.

H2O

Perform cardio and strengthening exercises in our pools.

Intro Classes

Offered periodically throughout the year (see schedule). These basic classes are designed for participants who would like to try something new. Instructors will explain the general flow of the class and then explain the most common moves while answering questions.

Kickboxing

Blend strength and cardio through basic martial arts moves and training drills.

Kwik Kore

A 15-minute class is all it takes to improve muscle balance and strength in all of your core muscles: abs, back, pelvis, shoulder girdle and neck.

Peak Alignment

This mat-based class will teach you to decrease stress on your joints by applying alignment principles to every activity.

Pilates

This multi-level class offers a variety of intensity options. Strengthen and stretch your powerhouse muscles: abs, gluteals, and low back muscles. This class will improve your alignment, coordination, stability, and balance. New to Pilates? Check out our Intro to Pilates class.

Power Pump

Get a total body workout with barbells and dumbbells. Our monthly workouts rotate through varied strength and endurance routines to keep your body challenged. If you’ve had no prior free weight experience, Intro to Power Pump is a pre-requisite to joining. Participants are asked to please sign-up prior to each class.

Senior Fit

This class focuses on improving functional skills required for everyday activities. Varied exercises may focus on cardio, strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility. Beginners are welcome!

Sports Step

An easy-to-follow step workout interspersed with sports drills, such as polymetrics, jacks, and jogging. We’ll give you options so you can control the intensity of your workout.

Step Challenge

A high intensity step workout built on advanced choreography. Knowledge of basic step moves/terms is strongly recommended.

Step Moves

An intermediate step aerobic workout that will dive into more intricate choreography. Come ready to challenge your coordination!

Gentle Yoga

This calm class focuses on gentle repetitive movement to increase range of motion and joint mobilization. Gentle yoga is ideal for those with arthritis, fibromyalgia, physical limitations or anyone preferring to simply move at a slower pace. All levels are welcome and modifications are provided. Please inform the instructor if you have any physical concerns.

Yoga Level 1

Beginners welcome! This class focuses on the basic poses of yoga and moves at a slower pace than the Multi-level practice. Detailed instruction is given on alignment, breath control, and functional movement. This class is especially informative for those who are new to yoga. Expect to increase your flexibility and enhance your relaxation response. Pose modifications are provided.

Yoga: Multi-level

Increase your strength, flexibility and stamina with an active yoga practice. A variety of options are given throughout the class to allow individual participants to work at their preferred intensity level. Know your limits and expand your potential! Yoga Intro and/or Level I Yoga is recommended for beginners.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

A high energy, active yoga class that uses a flowing series of poses to create heat.  Designed as a multi-level class, each participant moves at their own pace.  Prepare to sweat and be energized!

Yoga: Slow Burn Slow Flow

This class uses slow progressive sequences and longer holding postures.  The entire body and breath focus will create a supple and toned body.  This class is smooth but always challenging; approriate for all levels of student.

Zumba

A Latin-inspired, dance/fitness class combines fast and slow rhythms to tone and sculpt the body. It’s fun, it’s different, it’s easy, it’s effective!

Our main pool is 83-84 degrees, the therapy pool is 87-88 degrees and the spa is 100-102 degrees. We strive to maintain our pools to the highest level of cleanliness and warmth for the comfort of our members. Due to the usage of the pool there are times when maintenance needs to be done during operational hours, during these times, the pool temperature may be cooler or the pool may be closed.

Yes, lockers are available for rent. You may rent a small locker for $8 per month, or an executive locker for $400 per year. Ask membership about availability.

You do not need to sign up for classes aside from cycling and power pump. To sign up for cycling, simply put your name down on the list at the front desk up to 30 minutes prior to class starting. For Power Pump, our group fitness director can walk you through an intro to show you how to set up.

Ridge Kids is open from 8:30-1:30 and 4-7 Monday through Thursday, Fridays 8:30-1:30, and Saturdays 8:30-noon.

Children under the age of 14 are welcome to use our pool between 9-11:30am, 1:30-5pm, and 7-9:30pm Monday through Thursday with adult supervision. Also 9-11:30am and 1:30-8:30pm on Fridays and 7am-7:30pm on weekends.

To qualify for a couple memberhsip, the two people must live together and provide documentation proving shared finances. To be eligible for a family memberhsip, dependents must be 23 years of age or under.

Kids can access the fitness floor at 14 years old, provided they go through a minor orientation with one of our trainers. Under 14 years of age, children have access to the swimming pool, racquetball courts, and basketball court during family friendly hours.
